XXV. NATIONAL ANIMAL BREEDING EXHIBITION 11-14 September 2011,  XXV National Animal Breeding Exhibition was organized in Poznań. The Polish Federation of Cattle Breeders and Dairy Farmers was responsible for  dairy cattle exposition. This year 180 animals were presented including 94 cows and 86 heifers. Exposed animals  represented the following dairy breeds: Polish Holstein, Jersey, Simmental, Red Polish and Montbeliarde.     Exhibition attracted  54 dairy cattle breeders from the whole area of Poland..    click for more information POLISH FEDERATION OF CATTLE BREEDERS AND DAIRY FARMERS VIII GENERAL ASSEMBLY Polish Federation of Cattle Breeders and Dairy Farmers VIII General Assembly took place in Ożarów Mazowiecki on 21 March 2011. There was a 96% turnout. 154 delegates appeared in Ożarów  while 161 had been elected by the regional associations. Not only it was required majority but also  it gave strong mandate to elect the new authorities.    click for more information     ICAR Certificate of Quality for PFCBDF   On the 28th of December ICAR Board decided on granting Polish Federation of Cattle Breeders and Dairy Farmers the Certificate of Quality for following options:   •   The identification system of dairy cattle; •   The recording of production of dairy cattle; •   Laboratory analysis; •   Data processing.   Hereby Polish Federation of Cattle Breeders and Dairy Farmers was included on the list of ICAR member milk recording organizations that respect international standards and guarantee the highest quality of provided services. This refers not only to methods of test milking but also personnel’s training system,  recording and processing all the information related to a given milk sample starting from its collection until providing the results of test milking to the farmer.
